Modern Optometry Practice | Functional & Cohesive Custom Cabinetry
For this modern optometry practice, we manufactured custom cabinetry to create a seamless, cohesive aesthetic across diverse functional zones, including specialized clinical areas, administrative stations, and a staff breakroom. The project required balancing rigorous hygiene standards with a contemporary, welcoming design.
Design Strategy: Unified Sophistication We utilized a deep, matte blue laminate for all cabinetry, providing a sophisticated anchor that ties the entire office together. This color offers a stylish, modern alternative to standard medical whites while still feeling professional and clean. To contrast and brighten the space, the contractor paired the blue cabinetry with crisp, durable white solid-surface countertops, great for clinical upkeep.
Custom Solutions by Zone:
- Clinical Exam Rooms: In the exam and specialized tech rooms, we provided streamlined, space-saving base cabinetry solutions. These units incorporate vital sinks, compact workstations, and targeted storage for medical tools, maximizing functionality within a small footprint without cluttering the patient experience.
- Contact Lens Tech & Fitting: The main tech and fitting area required robust storage for extensive inventory. We created a large-scale installation featuring upper cabinets for bulk storage and extensive base units providing continuous counter space for hygiene and fitting procedures.
- Staff Breakroom: The blue and white design language continues into the staff breakroom with a streamlined kitchenette. The custom layout includes upper and lower cabinets to maximize storage in a compact area, alongside space for integrated appliances, creating a clean and refreshing break area for the team.
Results The finished cabinetry provides the practice with highly specialized, durable solutions tailored to their workflow while achieving a unified, professional, and contemporary image.
